Sicilian unwaxed lemons

Meg's pick me up shot:-
Grate a thumb sized piece of ginger with a fine, microplane (no need to peel) into a piece of linen cloth (I use the corner of a clean tea-towel). Wrap the grated ginger int a bundle and squeeze the ginger juice through the cloth into a small jug. Mix with the juice of half a lemon and a heaped dessert spoon full of honey until the honey has dissolved. There is enough for two shots here (one each for Meg and Will!), best downed in one, it is quite spicy!
