We are often asked how it is that our minced beef tastes so good. It is because we mature the whole carcass before butchery (the old fashioned way) allowing the flavour to develop before preparing the meat for sale. In the commercial chain forequarters of beef (the part the most mince is taken from) are deemed 'low value' and therefore processed immediately meaning the meat has had no time to mature and develop flavour and also carries more water (weight) to be charged on to the customer. We don't shout about this, we just continue to deliver delicious, healthy meat for favourite family meals like bolognese, cottage pie and savoury mince, allowing our carefully prepared food to speak for itself.
