A WORKSHOP IN TWO PARTS
Join us in our wedding marquee set up in the glorious Worcestershire countryside, to learn all you need to know about flowers, foliage and design for a wedding with a WOW!

This workshop, in two parts, will suit budding florists and brides-to-be who would like to get to grips with creating fabulous florals for the big day.
PART ONE
From 9.30 - 12.30 pm

Learn about preparing flowers and foliage then arranging a top table 'meadow-style' installation and a large urn or churn.

We'll take you through equipment, suitable choices of flowers and foliage, structure and presentation then step back for you to create a masterpiece.

If you are looking for inspiration for decorating your venue or portfolio pictures for your budding business, this setting is ideal.
PART TWO
2.00 - 5.00PM

In the afternoon we'll turn our attention to Bouquets, Buttonholes and Table Centrepieces.

Learn a simple hand-tied technique to make a wedding bouqet of seasonal flowers and foliage just like a pro!

Buttonholes - how to choose, prepare and make elegant posies for your groom and groomsmen.

Create a table centrepiece learning sustainable floristry mechanics.

With a wealth of wedding experience, Carole is an award winning florist who prides herself in arranging flowers with perfume and personality. She has flowered many weddings over the last ten years and is a superb teacher. Carole is super creative and has a solution to any floristry conundrum, so is perfect to ask for advice on wedding decoration challenges. She will also help you to capture great photographic images.

Flowers by Meg at Roots

Flower farmer and creative florist Meg will enthuse and inspire! She is passionate about the organic flowers and foliage that she grows on her Worcestershire farm, believing the combinations we see in nature help to inform the best arrangements! Providing flowers and foliage for these workshops, you can expect to work with a wide variety of flowers, foliage, herbs and maybe the odd fruit/vegetable!
